Your child will conquer the river every week this summer thanks to the Aventurier de nature Day Camp! An enriching adventure accompanied by dynamic counselors. The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles offers a choice of 3 themes adapted to children aged 9 to 11.
On the Road to Adventure
Our adventurers will sail on the Mille Îles River aboard different boats such as the rabaska, canoe and kayak. They will venture onto the Route verte by bike, will be introduced to forest survival, orientation and will discover the activities that have been practiced on the river in the past.
Please note that people registered for this theme must be able to cycle independently since a one-day cycling expedition is planned.
The Apprentice Fishermen
Whether they are beginners, intermediates or experts, apprentice fishermen will experience a week 100% fishing! They will discuss different techniques and learn more about the fish species of the Mille Îles River as well as the best fishing spots.
Aspiring environmentalists *New!
What species are found in the Mille Îles River? Our aspiring ecologists will investigate the mysterious species of animals, fungi and plants found on the islands and in the water. On the menu: scientific experiments in the laboratory and meeting with the living collection of turtles.
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Before- and after-camp care: 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

Booking
Every week of the summer, from June 24th to August 16th 2024
No previous experience needed for any of the themes.
All children enrolled in our day camps will have a chance to visit the Believe It or Not! exhibition and learn the basics of navigation.
Children ages 9 to 11 will receive a fishing rod, a Guliver guide and a fishing permit valid up to age 18.
We reserve the right to cancel activities if the conditions on the river are not suitable.
