Laval, April 8, 2021<\/strong> – As of April 12, \u00c9co-Nature and Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes will welcome a new assistant general director: Annie Morrisseau will bring a wealth of professional experience to the organization’s mission. She will support Executive Director Christine M\u00e9tayer in developing the organization’s strategic planning and development vision. The latter is already looking forward to being supported by the newcomer: “Her humility and maturity in managing staff, her calm temperament and her in-depth knowledge of the tourism industry make Annie the team player we need to take \u00c9co-Nature even further,” (Translation) she points out.<\/p>\r\n

Since 2011, Annie Morrisseau has amassed an impressive track record in the recreation and tourism sector. From Centre de vill\u00e9giature Mont-Tremblant to Centre touristique du Lac-Simon, Ziptrek \u00c9cotours and Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, the customer experience has always been at the heart of her mandates.<\/p>\r\n

From 2015 to the present day, Annie has distinguished herself within SEPAQ, first as Customer Service Manager at Parc national du Mont-Tremblant, then as Director of the Centre touristique du Lac-Simon, a position in which her leadership skills helped mobilize her employees and significantly improve the center’s performance. Her poise, collaborative leadership, knowledge of the field, personal qualities and passion for the outdoors also make her an ideal candidate to join the committed, nature-loving team that makes up \u00c9co-Nature.<\/p>\r\n

As Assistant General Director, Annie Morrisseau will manage the deployment of major projects in a context of internal growth within a post-pandemic economy. Reporting to the Executive Director and holding the position in the latter’s absence, the Assistant General Director will actively participate in the work surrounding the realization of the 2021-2023 strategic plan and its implementation. She will also support the day-to-day operations of Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes, as well as being involved in maintaining and developing business, partnership and political relations, and in developing a cutting-edge recreational tourism offer, among other tasks, all within a sustainable development approach.<\/p>\r\n

With her desire to contribute positively to the mission of \u00c9co-Nature and Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes, there’s no doubt that Annie Morrisseau will be the perfect addition to the organization’s management team.<\/p>\r\n

\u00c9co-Nature works to protect, conserve and enhance the Rivi\u00e8re des Mille-\u00celes and its tributaries, with the support and for the benefit of the community. Founded in 1987 and managed from the outset by \u00c9co-Nature, Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes offers a superior ecotourism experience that respects the natural environment and benefits more than 130,000 visitors annually.
