The team is made up of professionals, veterinarians and volunteers. \u00c9co-Nature is looking for volunteers to transport turtles during the different stages of the rehabilitation process. \u00c9co-Nature is looking for volunteers to transport injured specimens to the CRTQ and to transport turtle specimens that have been treated and rehabilitated by our team for the return to nature.<\/p>\r\n<p>If you are interested in this opportunity, you may be added to our list of turtle transport volunteers. You should know that the turtles must be released at the place where they were initially captured and that we serve a large territory (variable distance from our center in Laval).<\/p>\r\n<h4>Cleanup drives<\/h4>\r\n<p>(Offered year-round)<\/p>\r\n<p>Organize or join a cleanup drive of the Mille \u00celes River&#8217;s banks, on your own or with a team, on foot or by boat. Cleanup drives are usually held between mid-May and mid-October. Contact us for further details.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Planting drives<\/h4>\r\n<p>(Offered in Summer and Fall)<\/p>\r\n<p>Help restore natural environments, either by improving shorelines or creating pollinator gardens. Check our planting drive dates and join us if you\u2019re available.<\/p>\r\n<h4>Wildlife monitoring<\/h4>\r\n<p>Take part in a bat inventory, share with us your turtle sightings, help monitor wood duck nesting boxes, or patrol natural environments.<br \/>\r\n<a class=\"btn btn--bg btn--primary\" href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/en\/contact-us\/\">Contact us for more details.<\/a><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring of bats between May and September<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring turtles between May and the end of October<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Monitoring of wood duck nesting boxes in February-March<\/li>\r\n\t<li>Patrol at all times<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h3>Photos<\/h3>\r\n<p>We\u2019re often looking for good photographs of the plants, animals and natural environments along the Mille \u00celes River for our awareness-building activities.
