With the cold and snow at our doorstep, decorations lighting up every neighbourhood and Christmas carols blaring everywhere, there’s no doubt about it: the holiday season is well and truly upon us!<\/p>\r\n

Christmas, New Year’s Day, the festivities in between. We’re all happy to be on vacation, but we have to be careful not to come out more tired than we were, and focus on what’s really important: family, health and happiness!<\/p>\r\n

It’s easy to fall into the trap of frenzy and turn this season into a real nightmare. This year, we invite you to get back to basics and enjoy these special moments with your family, so that your memory will be etched with fond memories once 2020 begins.<\/p>\r\n

Here are a few ideas:<\/p>\r\n

Step outside!<\/h3>\r\n

It may sound clich\u00e9, but the holiday season is the perfect time to take advantage of the winter season. Whether it’s for winter sports or just to take a walk or make a snowman with the family, dress warmly and go outside at any time of day, then come back inside to make yourself a cup of hot chocolate.<\/p>\r\n

As everyone knows, a little physical activity does wonders for your mental and physical health! Come and enjoy our Owl Trail, which is already open! See our winter map HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\r\n

Enjoy a fun and enriching family activity!<\/h3>\r\n

Material gifts are always nice to receive, but it’s important to create beautiful memories of life by offering your children stimulating family activities.<\/p>\r\n

This holiday season, we’re delighted to offer children a free visit to the museum. On Saturday, December 28 and Sunday, December 29, we’ll be offering children aged 6 to 13, accompanied by a parent, a free tour of the \u201cBelieve it or not!\u201d permanent exhibition and of the Ecology Laboratory.<\/p>\r\n

With these cold temperatures, there’s never been a better time to discover the Park from a different angle with your family! Come and browse our exhibition, inspired directly by the river, its history, culture and ecosystems. More information HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\r\n
