Oh, how we love autumn! The changing colors of the leaves, the cooler nights and… Halloween! Would you like to introduce your little ones to the mysterious joys of Halloween<\/strong>? Looking for a little something different?<\/p>\r\n

To mark the most terrifying holiday of the year, we invite young and not-so-young alike to take part in our two activities and learn more about a variety of subjects.<\/p>\r\n

Friday, November 1, 2019: Creatures of the Night<\/h3>\r\n

This Halloween<\/strong>, perhaps you’ll be dressing up as Dracula or Batman? Do you know the animal these characters represent? By now you’ve probably figured out that it’s the bat<\/strong>!<\/p>\r\n

There have been a lot of rumors about these winged mammals, but they’re all pretty much bogus. Thanks to this conference, you’ll be able to discover this fabulous animal in its true light.<\/p>\r\n

We invite you to join us on Friday, November 1 at 7 p.m.<\/strong> for a fun and enriching activity in the company of one of our biologists<\/strong>. You’ll have the chance to take part in a multimedia conference, where you’ll learn more about these beautiful species.<\/p>\r\n

Saturday, November 2 and Sunday, November 3, 2019: Free museum tours for children<\/h3>\r\n

For Halloween<\/strong>, we’re delighted to offer children a free tour of the museum. Indeed, on November 2 and 3, we’ll be offering children aged 6 to 13 accompanied by a parent a free tour of the permanent exhibition \u201cBelieve it or not!\u201d<\/p>\r\n

With these cooler temperatures, it’s the perfect time to come and discover the Park from another angle and explore our exhibition, inspired directly by the river, its history, culture and ecosystems.<\/p>\r\n

More than just an exhibition, Believe it or not!<\/strong> <\/em>is a collective awareness of the actions we can take to conserve this precious living environment. Through testimonials and interactive games<\/strong>, youngsters will learn more about the river’s history<\/strong>, culture<\/strong> and ecosystems<\/strong>. They will also have the opportunity to explore one of the largest collections of naturalized animals in Quebec, as well as a rich heritage collection<\/strong>.<\/p>\r\n
