Whether they were reuniting with their friends and teachers, starting a new year or beginning their first year of high school, they were all excited to begin the <strong>2019-2020 school year<\/strong>.<\/h6>\r\n<h6>It&#8217;s also nice to see the teachers, also visitors to the park, excited to meet up with their students, welcoming them with open arms to the schoolyard. It&#8217;s a new beginning for them too!<\/h6>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-3238 size-full aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-16.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-16.png 420w, https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-16-300x100.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<h6>Some may not know it yet, but the <strong>Parc de la Rivi\u00e8re-des-Mille-\u00celes<\/strong> offers a wide range of school activities!<\/h6>\r\n<h6>Students taking part in our activities will have the chance to discover the biodiversity, history and culture of the Rivi\u00e8re des Mille \u00celes through educational and fun activities, all in a safe environment.<\/h6>\r\n<h6>New this year: students will have the chance to discover our permanent exhibition, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/en\/activities\/believe-it-or-not-2\/\"><em>Believe it or not!<\/em><\/a> <\/strong>More than just an exhibition, <strong><em>Believe it or not!<\/em><\/strong> is a collective awareness campaign on the actions we can take to conserve this precious living environment. Through testimonials and <strong>interactive games<\/strong>, students will learn more about the river&#8217;s <strong>history<\/strong>, <strong>culture<\/strong> and <strong>ecosystems<\/strong>. They will also have the opportunity to explore one of the largest collections of naturalized animals in Quebec, as well as a <strong>rich heritage collection<\/strong>.<\/h6>\r\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3236 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-15.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-15.png 420w, https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Sans-titre-15-300x100.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\r\n<h6>Several activities are offered from May to October, including the very popular <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/en\/activities\/amphibious-rally-school-group\/\"><strong>amphibious rally<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/en\/activities\/ecology-outing-school\/\"><strong>One River, a Thousand Lives excursion<\/strong><\/a>, so there&#8217;s little time left to enjoy them. Don&#8217;t delay! See our list of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/activites\/ete\/groupes\/scolaire\/\"><strong>summer activities<\/strong><\/a> (May to October) and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.parc-mille-iles.qc.ca\/activites\/hiver\/activites-groupe\/groupe-scolaire\/\"><strong>winter activities<\/strong><\/a> (January to March). And of course, this is also the perfect time to plan your spring 2020 outings.
