On Sunday, June 7, celebrate Fishing Day at Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles!

On this occasion, adults will be able to take part in fishing activities without a license. A great opportunity to discover this traditional activity!

A special program will be offered from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Garrot shore, behind the Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Exploration Centre.

• FAMILY FISHING INTRODUCTION
• FISHING EXCURSION for more experienced participants
• DRAWING WORKSHOP led by artist Charlem, whose exhibition “L’eau philosophique” is on display at the Exploration Centre until August 9

Awareness kiosks and educational games will also be set up along the shore to help you learn more about fish, their anatomy, fishing regulations, and much more. Take advantage of them during your visit or boat rental!

Fishing Day is an annual event celebrated across Quebec. Come enjoy a day of discovery and experience the joys of fishing in nature!
