Amazing critters
Nature expedition with nets and other insect-catching tools
Budding entomologists take their samples back to the lab to observe them with binoculars and identify their findings. They learn how to use an identification key and how to classify different arthropod taxa. We'll also be able to infer habitat quality from the bioindicators found.
Part of the activity will take place in our ecology lab and part in nature.
IMPORTANT: Children must be accompanied by an adult. The accompanying adult must also reserve admission to the activity. Please notify us of any allergies or health problems.
