Believe it or not!
An astonishing exhibition
Did you know that the wildlife area of Parc de la Rivière-des-Milles-Îles is home to the greatest biodiversity in the entire metropolitan region and the Laurentians, including majestic bald eagles and gigantic snapping turtles? Or that several great jazzmen, including Louis Armstrong, Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington, and even Frank Sinatra performed on the banks of the river to the delight of vacationers in the 1940s and 1950s?
No? Then you have an appointment with an incredible story at the Parc de la Rivière-des-Milles-Îles Exploration Center!
A world apart, in the heart of the city
The Incroyable, mais vrai! exhibition presents this natural jewel as you’ve never seen it before. From colonization to the emergence of dormitory towns on either side of its banks, get ready for an environmental, cultural and civic journey punctuated by Oh! and Really? and Wow, I didn’t know!
