Start of the season and opening of the Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles Exploration Center!

Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Iles is pleased to offer you its brand new Exploration Center for the start of the 2019 season! Since May 11, the public has been invited to visit the permanent exhibition, Believe it or not!, which highlights the history of the Mille Îles River, its vast ecosystem and its environmental issues, as well as a laboratory of ecology where several species are presented.

The Exploration Center, located at 345 boulevard Sainte-Rose, stands out with contemporary and avant-garde architecture offering a magnificent view of the Rivière-des-Mille-Îles that is sure to please everyone! In addition to being aesthetically pleasing, this establishment is aiming for LEED Gold certification, because it was built with the idea of ​​achieving high performance in key areas of human health and the environment.

It also includes a grandiose reception hall, a café area (opening summer 2019), rooms for your events and a new boat rental center through which you can discover the islands of archipelago by kayak, canoe, rabaska, paddle board, pedal boat or rowboat.

The Park will once again offer several activities including the popular cruise in the islands aboard the Héron Bleu, the Discovery Nature day camp, kayaking at dusk, fishing activities for young and old, introductory canoe and kayak lessons. and paddle boarding, as well as several activities guided by naturalist guides. Among the new features, visitors will be able to learn SUP yoga in a most relaxing and magical setting.
