Day camp for children 6 to 8 years old
Your child will conquer the river every week of the summer thanks to the Nature Discovery Day Camp! An enriching adventure accompanied by dynamic counselors. The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles offers a choice of 3 themes adapted to children aged 6 to 8.
In the shoes of a naturalist
This theme aims to help children discover the richness of the flora and fauna of the Mille Îles River. The days are devoted to different families found in the Park: mammals, birds, plants, fish, insects.
The navigators of the lost treasure
Throughout the week, the children are invited to go on a treasure hunt. According to different themes developed by the animators, the children learn at the beginning of the week that a treasure has been lost and that it must be found. The youngsters will then have to take part in various tests throughout the week in order to find the lost treasure.
The little fishermen
Come and introduce your children to fishing. Throughout the week, your children will be able to discover the basics of this practice. They will know how to set up a fishing rod, recognize different species of fish and learn how to fish for certain species.
Schedule
Monday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Before- and after-camp care: 7 to 9 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m.

No previous experience needed for any of the themes.
All children enrolled in our day camps will have a chance to visit the Curiosity Cabinet exhibition and learn the basics of navigation.
We reserve the right to cancel activities if the conditions on the river are unsuitable.
